Fame is the representation of how famous you become as an explorer. It is the value used as a score in the Hall of Fame.
You earn fame for every expedition you succeed. When choosing your expedition you can already see how much fame you would get. You also get more fame for the items you bring back to Paris, like treasures or animal trophies. Leftover provisions are turned in for 10% of their value in extra fame.
