Wandering Islanders

While traveling over an island you can encounter some wandering islanders. You can decide to approach them and meet them. This will start an encounter event where you learn something about them and can interact with them. If you pass two tiles near them they will also spot you and follow you to meet you.

Depending on your Standing your encounter will be more or less pleasant. In these encounter events, you often have the possibility to gain Standing by asking the islanders something about their tribe or by giving them a gift. You can also ask them the way to the village or even ask them for some food.
