Attention Chance is a value that defines the probability of being spotted by an [[Enemies|enemy]] when entering their red zone. For most enemies, this value is quite high so you should think twice about entering their spotting zone.

On the other hand, you can use [[Animal Scent|animal scent]] to mask your scent and sneak past dangerous enemies. This item will lower your attention chance by 75%. That means an animal that has an attention chance of 80% will only be at 5% during the effect of the item. Using animal scent also lets you ambush enemies and get an extra combat round when attacking.
